Amber will display her true modeling talents in a full picture album of herself. This will be a great look for the newcomer who is rumored to star in a new feature film with Will Smith Next summer 2011.

Popular culture inevitably absorbs counter cultural symbols and gestures. Think about the hippie peace sign or the rocker’s devil horn salute. Hip Hop Culture introduced hand signs representing their hometowns. Today, friends posing for pictures and celebrities pictured in magazines routinely “throw up” these hand signs as a stylish expression. Meanings sometimes evolve through technological advances. The “Hand Sign” is available in a range of gestures.

Created in 2008 by Franck Muller, the Mariner line has been modeled on the successful Casablanca Chronograph collection. Eye catching distinctive marine symbols such as the blue wind rose and compass have been thoughtfully placed for dramatic effect on the new black or white Cintrée Curvex shaped dials.

The color of the sea, featured on the skeleton numerals and hands, immediately evokes the feeling of the marine, which was inspiration for this new collection of timepieces.

The Mariner displays hours and minutes, seconds in a counter at 9 o’clock and the date at 6 o’clock. The chronograph function is featured with central seconds while the 30 minutes counter is placed at 3 o’clock. Robust push-pieces positioned on the side of the case, together with a powerful crown, emphasize once more the dynamic character of the line.

This collection is available in 3 Cintrée Curvex case sizes as follows: steel, gold, platinum and a PVD “all black version.” Last but not least, the sporty mood of this innovative timepiece continues with a rubber strap or it can be “softened” by an elegant hand-sewn alligator strap.

The Riva 86 Domino (www.riva-yacht.com), which at press time was scheduled to debut at the Cannes International Boat & Yacht Show in September, illustrates the domino effect at work for the Italian yacht maker: The boat’s Metallic Ice hull color and sweeping black windshield advance the futuristic look that Riva recently introduced with its 63 Vertigo and 68 Ego Super models. In the 86 Domino’s master stateroom, the entire side bulkhead is designed as a picture window onto the sea. Equipped with twin 2,435 hp MTU diesels, the boat can reach speeds as high as 38 knots.
